The book opens with us getting a look into the lives of the Justice League. As they live in a world where most people are sparking with new powers, yet they have to live hum drum lives trying to make ends meet, facing obsticals their powers would have easily allowed them to conquer. That is until Clark Kent has a wall fall on him as he tries to save them, and Bruce Wayne sees his Parents. They realize they are in a dream, and it is up to them to wake the others out of it.
